NVIDIA no longer creates DCH registry entry

Hey can you re-try running TNUC after like 1h? In the past we've had issues where the NVIDIA API acted like Joe biden.

I'll keep this bug report open either way, because we could implement a fallback to NewMetadataHandler.

I dont think its the server being sick or something. I mean ive tried on different days, different hours, and result is the same.

Fix is coming soon, please use this workaround:

1. Open the config file, by navigating to %localappdata%/Hawaii_Beach/TinyNvidiaUpdateChecker
2. Open app.config with your text editor of choice
3. Add the following:

<add key="Use Experimental Metadata" value="true" />

4. Save the file, and relaunch TNUC

It should now work

Just wanted to add to this, hopefully this info helps. I've been using TNUC for a while now, no issues. Ran into some problems with the latest NVIDIA driver causing crashing/black screen issues at random periods. Rolled back to the previous driver version using Display Driver Uninstaller and TNUC gave me the same "No NVIDIA driver found for your system configuration" despite manually installing an older driver from NVIDIA. Adding Use Experimental Metadata key to the config resolved the issue.

Actually if you squint at the debug message, it says DCH is not used.

My latest fix today, fixed the broken automatic DCH upgrade.

Non-DCH GPUs will attempt to search for DCH drivers. This fix might resolve your issue, too. It'll be released soon and you'll be able to try with old metadata handler.
