This is not a bug in Alexandria — it's the LLM translating your Russian text into English during script generation. The system prompt says "preserve the author's text," but all the examples are in English, which can bias some models toward English output. Fix: Go to Setup > Prompt Settings (Advanced) and add a line to the System Prompt, for example at the end of the RULES section: You can also try adding a reminder to the User Prompt before the The quality of results depends on which LLM model you're using — some models follow language preservation instructions better than others. If the issue persists, try a different model or a model with stronger multilingual support. |

Another option that may work even better: translate the entire System Prompt and User Prompt into Russian in Setup > Prompt Settings (Advanced). When the LLM sees all-English prompts with English examples, it's naturally biased toward English output. Rewriting the prompts in Russian (including the JSON examples with Russian sample text) removes that bias entirely and should give much more consistent results. |

Hi.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I connect the book in Russian and click Generate Annotated Script. After executing the script in the 4. Editor tab, I see that part of the book has been translated into English. Although there is no such thing in the original file.
