version.h: No such file or directory

when I try make in the Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.4.0-124-generic x86_64);
it show the error as follow:
cli/commands.c:27:10: fatal error: version.h: No such file or directory
27 | #include "version.h"
| ^~~~~~~~~~~
how can I fix it?

version.h should be created by the build system. Are you seeing any other errors before that? How are you building the package?

I had this error and fixed it by installing a few libraries: libncurses5-dev, libssl-dev, and winres.
