Uploading files from a remote server

The idea is to be able to share a file from an existing web service (such as https://amoebaos.com/), using perhaps a GET parameter (eg: file_url) in the UploadItem API.

I'm extremely interested in hearing about any updates to this, and when the functionality is available we'll be integrating right away. Looking forward to it.
