Updated Authentication Behavior

Your Task Manager now implements the exact authentication flow you requested:

🚀 App Startup Flow

  1. First Launch: Always shows Splash ScreenLogin Page
  2. Returning Users: Shows Splash ScreenLogin Page with auto-login option (if token exists)

👤 User Journey Flows

New User Registration Flow:

Login Page → Click "Register" → Registration Page → Fill Details → Click "Register"
    ↓
Success Alert → Click "OK" → Back to Login Page → Enter Credentials → Click "Login"
    ↓
Task Manager Page

Existing User - First Time Flow:

Login Page → Enter Credentials → Click "Login" → Task Manager Page

Existing User - Returning User Flow:

Login Page (with auto-login option) → Two Options:
Option 1: Click "Continue as Previous User" → Task Manager Page
Option 2: Enter New Credentials → Click "Login" → Task Manager Page

🎯 Key Features Implemented

✅ Login Page Always First

  • App always starts with Login page (never auto-redirects to TaskList)
  • Splash screen shows briefly, then Login page appears

✅ Registration → Login Flow

  • New users register → must manually login after registration
  • No automatic login after registration
  • Success message guides user to login page

✅ Smart Auto-Login Option

  • Only shows for users who have previously logged in successfully
  • Offers "Continue as Previous User" button
  • Validates stored token before allowing auto-login
  • Falls back to manual login if token expired

✅ Manual Login Always Available

  • Users can always choose to enter credentials manually
  • Supports switching between different user accounts
  • Secure token storage and validation

🔧 Technical Implementation

Files Modified:

  1. AppNavigator.js: Always starts with Login page
  2. LoginScreen.js: Added auto-login detection and option
  3. RegisterScreen.js: Always redirects to Login after registration
