What problem are you facing?
This template repo is being updated to use the latest function-sdk-go:v0.3.0 in #81, but we still can't update the package metadata to v1 until we have a Crossplane release that supports that metadata type.

How could this Function help solve your problem?
Just bump that package metadata version to v1 when we have a new Crossplane release with crossplane/crossplane#5972. We expect this to be v1.17.2.
