Thank you, works great. (The batch file link seems to have lost its way.) |

Hi Windows users,
I wrote a small Windows compliant GUI that uses a nice, easy-to-use Windows interface to make using PanDoc easier to use.
I did NOT write PanDoc and I am NOT affiliated with PanDoc or its authors in any way.
I offer this software as is, without any express or implied warranties regarding its utility, reliability, or safety. You are solely responsible for its use. I make no guarantees that it will function as intended—or at all. Use it entirely at your own risk. (It probably will not crawl out of your computer and end all life on Earth, but no promises.)
AFTER installing PanDoc and making sure it runs using the CLI,
Put pandoc_gui.py somewhere in your file system - I put mine in my 'username' directory '\PanDoc GUI'
Copy the directory location where you just put the file and edit that disk location, also known as its path, into 'Run_PanDoc_On_Windows_Bat.txt' on the line that says to change the location,
then rename the file something shorter, like 'PanDoc GUI.bat' making sure that you change the file extension to 'bat' so it will run on Windows.
Put that newly-edited 'bat' file in the same directory as the PanDoc GUI file. Then make a shortcut to the bat file. That shortcut can be put anywhere you want,.
Run-PanDoc-On-Windows-Bat.txt
pandoc_gui.py
Feel free to ask for help with installation, but I make no promises that I will respond in a timely fashion or at all, and I do not garentee that any advice I give you will help you in any way. ChatGPT and/or Claude are both capable of assisting you in gettng this app working.
