Run error when attempting to export config

I tried the following:

[root@bigip2:Active:Disconnected] tmp # tmsh run cli script tmpl_export
tmpl_export: script failed to complete:

"tmsh::get_config /ltm profile $typ"

RajeshDo you need to export any ASM policies? one way around this is to create an ASM policy. Another way around it is to edit the script, search for the word web-security and remove it.  unless you know how to change a script using the tmsh CLI, you may want to start over and make the change before importing the script. I will also take a look and try to fix it. John

Hi johnalam,

Thanks for your tips that was very helpful and after a numerous trial & errors i was able to run the export commands successfully.

But now i am struck at "where is my export file or where to find the exported json". when run the export command i didnt see any error but i am also not able to find the file.

can you throw some light on it if possible.

The output should show up on your screen if you run it from the Big-IP command line. How are you running it?  From where? John

I did run it by logging into the big-ip server. I might have messed up some where i would retry this. Thanks for the info
