How to expose the traefik dashboard?

I think this is a documentation issue.

After k3s installation i was not able to expose the traefik dashboard.
How can I expose the traefik dashboard in a k3s installation?

Documentation I have read:

• the traefik documetation ( https://doc.traefik.io/traefik/getting-started/kubernetes/ ) that works perfectly in docker but not in k3s
• the k3s.rocks documentation ( https://k3s.rocks/traefik-dashboard/ ) that installs correctly but don't work
• some issues (seems old as traefik dashboard 404 #6677 )

nothing worked for me.

My framework

k3s v1.34.6+k3s1 installed with

I was successful in exposing the dashboard; but I don't know if this is the right way.

This didn'work until I made some changes:

• added the step to generate a certificate and the tls secret
• changed the api reference in many yaml files

The api reference that worked for me is

apiVersion: traefik.io/v1alpha1
