Description of the new feature/enhancement (with images if possible)
Some typefaces such as Geist Mono comes with double-storey lowercase a for upright fonts and single-storey lowercase a for italic fonts by default. However, the fonts does come with optional glyph for both single-storey lowercase a for upright fonts and alternate double-storey lowercase a for italic fonts. I wish such feature also exist in Cascadia Code/Mono
Thank you very much in advance for your consideration.
Proposed technical implementation details (optional)
I believe that the easiest way to generate the alternative glyphs is to slant the existing double-storey lowercase a to create the optional italic glyph as well as un-slant the existing single-storey lowercase a to create the optional upright glyph.
