Hello, I somewhat frequently run into an issue of flopy writing external arrays using the old-school wrapped format. I get around this by setting sim.simulation_data.max_columns_of_data to a very large number, but I wonder why the default isn't already something very large? Seems to me that in this day and age, we can afford to have nrow x ncol array external files. Just a thought, thanks for all y'all do!
