not an issue but a question #9

Hello @indranilsinharoy ,

since you are the creator of both pyzos and pyzdde, here's my newbie question: which one would you recommend?
From the Zemax website I get the impression that ZOS-API is the new way to make a connection to scripted languages like Python and Matlab and DDE the old (and outdated?) way. Is that right? Should I use pyzos or pyzdde for future-proof scripts? Are there differences such as maturity or ease of use between the two? Do you have a different development focus for the packages? In short: which one should I use for building (relatively complex) Python & Zemax applications?

Thanks in advance...
