ubuntu:noble(Ubuntu 24.04) changes the default system Python to version 3.12. This will cause the Docker build to fail because the version ofapache-beamspecified inrequirements.txt(2.40.0) does not support Python 3.12.To resolve this, you'll need to update the Apache Beam dependencies to versions compatible with Python 3.12. This requires changes in other files:
dataflow/custom-containers/ubuntu/requirements.txt, upgradeapache-beamto a version that supports Python 3.12 (e.g.,2.56.0or newer).Dockerfile, update the base Beam SDK image on line 20 to match the new Python and Beam versions. For example:COPY --from=apache/beam_python3.12_sdk:2.56.0 /opt/apache/beam /opt/apache/beam
